At Mentoring Miracles, we strive to empower underprivileged children through education and mentorship. Our programs are designed to foster a love for learning and build brighter futures. Our founders Constanza Dominguez (middle) , Marianne Dominguez (right) , and Tulio Rosado (left) strive to keep improving the organization and give others the opportunity that was given to them
To help foster kids develop social skills, motivate them to pursue a career, and help them earn scholarships so they are able to pay for school
To lower the percentage rate of foster children that end up homeless once they turn 18 and are forced to leave the foster care system
This organization began when co-founders Constanza and Marianne Dominguez decided to donate their birthday presents to the foster home His House in the 3rd grade, meeting the kids and interacting with them. As they grew they wanted to create a greater, long-lasting impact. Partnering with Tulio Rosado their Junior year of high school, they decided to create a platform that will give the foster kids same opportunities they had growing up; opening doors to academic and social skills that will help them succeed in the future.
There are many ways to get involved with Mentoring Miracles . Become a mentor, volunteer at fundraising events, or donate. We'd love to have you on board! You can be a sponsor and help us to achieve our goal of offering one high achieving teen a scholarship. You can become a tutor, or as we like to call it a mentor, where you will help teenagers in the foster home with core subjects such as reading, science, and math; or teaching them social skills such as networking or communication. Last, you can simply help by donating or volunteering at our fundraising events.
Our mentorship initiatives connect experienced mentors with young people seeking guidance. At Mentoring Miracles, we strive to create meaningful relationships that foster personal and professional growth. Mentors share their knowledge, experiences, and support, helping the teenagers navigate challenges and seize opportunities for success. Shown above is one of our mentors Renzo Ferroni. Furthermore, our sponsors and fundraising events help to give deserving children scholarships to help them go to their desired school.
Bill Edwards became a part of the foster care program at a young age. Like many children entering this system, Bill faced uncertainty and challenges that no child should ever face, especially alone. Born one of seven children, over the years he got separated from his siblings, ending up at a catholic children’s home at the age of 11.
Bill expressed that he would try his best to raise money, and at the age of 12, he started to work for just 50 cents an hour. As he entered high school, sports became a pivotal part of his life. Athletics not only gave him structure and purpose, but a requirement was to maintain high grades, which became a strong motivation to succeed academically. As a result, he was accepted into college on a minor scholarship. Surrounded by less-than-ideal influences both at school and in the home, Bill credits his success to the fundamental truth: It’s all about the choices you are given, and It’s up to you to choose to make the right one.
Today, he is a successful professional, husband, and father, living in Miami. Motivated by the kindness and support shown to him during his younger years, his life now serves as a source of inspiration to youth communities in foster care—that your past does not define your future. With faith, support, and resilience, a life full of purpose, joy, and hope is possible.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals. Help us achieve our mission by donating, becoming a mentor, or becoming a member of our organization.
By becoming a member you will be helping foster children -mostly ranging in ages from 13 to 17 year old- through tutoring sessions. You will be teaching them different skills that are needed in day to day life such as networking, speech, and communication skills. Furthermore, if you are an expert in a specific career path - such as law, medicine, or engineering- you will be able to present lectures on your chosen path to inspire the teens to dream big,
By joining our organization, you will have to attend our monthly meetings, where we will present updates, ideas, and future events. You will be involved in the planning of such events as well as volunteering. Fill out the form below so we can send you meeting links and updates through your email.
